"I started working for TCG back in 2010 as a part-time Team Member when I was 16, working alongside 6th Form and Uni. TCG were very supportive and provided me with the flexibility to allow me to focus on my studies while also wanting to pursue a management career, where I stepped into this by being a 'Sunday Fryer'. The Sunday Fryer role was a similar role to the current 'Shift Supervisor' now, which involved me running a shift every Sunday, giving me fundamental management and leadership skills.
Following this I became a full time Fryer (leading the store team and cooking), then I progressed to Assistant Manager and then progressed to Store Manager at one of our flagship Churchill's Fish & Chip stores.
After 2 years working as Store Manager, I started a new role as 'Operations Brand Manager' at our Head Office. 2 years after that I got promoted to be 'Project Manager' which is my current role today! I now lead a team of 3, covering areas of customer service, operational support and Project Management/ maintenance.
TCG have supported and developed me since I was 16, and gave me a strong career to progress into with multiple training opportunities along the way...from serving Fish & Chips on the counter, to fitting out our new stores! 🙂"
