Fish & Chip Store Roles

Team Members

As a Team Member you’ll make our customers fish and chip dreams come true, have fun and be recognised for the hero you are! Team Members are mainly responsible for serving customers, maintaining standards of food quality, store cleanliness and front counter organisation. Team Members are the main face of our company so maintaining a high level of quality, service and cleanliness - ensuring total customer satisfaction is key!

Shift Supervisors

As a Shift Supervisor you are mainly responsible for operating the store in line with the Operating Manual standards, and maintaining a high level of quality, service, and cleanliness - reflecting our Brand Standards and making your takeaway/restaurant the best it can be. You are responsible for the staff within your shop when you are running a shift and are responsible for the cash management, stock control and any ordering that is needed to be done.

Assistant Managers

As an Assistant Manager you are responsible for managing all aspects of your shift, ensuring you and your team go above and beyond for your customers and team at all times. You will prepare and cook our award winning fish and chips, as well as ensuring your team have a safe environment to work In by following our health and safety training. You will work alongside your Store Manager to ensure your store achieves its core KPI’s, as well as understanding financial reports that will ensure your store is run as profitably as it possibly can be.

Store Managers

As a Store Manager you are responsible for operating your store in accordance with our Brand Standards. You are responsible at all times for the staff within your shop and are responsible for the profit and loss of the business by following strict control measures such as portion control, cash control, stock control, managing the wage bill, as well as understanding financial reports that will allow for the successful financial management of the store. You (and your team) will carry out the health, safety, welfare, hygiene and quality aspects of your duties in accordance with laid down procedures, and will always strive to deliver the very best experience for both your staff and our customers!

Our incredible team of 30 at the S.H.E.D are the superheroes that work their magic behind the scenes to support our restaurants and takeaways to deliver the very best food service experience for our customers.
